On Wednesday, May 10th from 7-8pm we are looking forward to the last Student concert of this season with John Price (Wind Instrument Specialist) and Norman Reintamn (Conductor and Artistic Director of the Cathedral Bluffs Symphony Orchestra) accompanying.This concert is a co-production of Springboard To Music and the CBSO. Students, parents, families and community members are welcome. Admission is free.

John Price is a versatile theatre musician who has performed on flute, oboe, clarinet, bassoon and saxophone for productions like Phantom of the Opera, Les Miserables and Cats. He also was an original member of the Brodie Sax Quartet and the Canadian Sax Trio. Presently he performs with the Toronto Sax Quartet.

Symphony Orchestra) John will demonstrate the fascinating complexities, the beauty and differences of the sound of the flute, oboe, clarinet, bassoon and saxophone. In a student friendly and hands on presentation, John will show how the sounds are produced and play the instruments live for us to experience.
